Welcome to Socialfree ("we," "our," or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website at socialfree.me, associated subdomains, and our contact profile setup, custom design, and hosting services.

By purchasing a profile setup, submitting an intake form, or utilizing any service provided via socialfree.me, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our services.

2. Description of Service

Socialfree provides a minimalist digital setup and hosting service for individuals seeking an alternative to traditional social media profile landing pages.

Our services include:

• Building and hosting a one-page digital contact profile at a designated URL slug (e.g., socialfree.me/yourname).
• Configuring direct-launch communication links (such as Email, Phone, WhatsApp, Signal, or Telegram).
• Applying custom minimalist CSS styling and formatting.
• Generating high-contrast QR code wallpapers optimized for mobile lockscreens.
• Implementing standard technical HTTP headers ("noindex", "nofollow", and automated bot blocks) designed to restrict search engine indexing and automated web scraping.

3. User Responsibilities and Acceptable Use

By using Socialfree, you warrant and agree that:

• Content Ownership: You own or have explicit authorization to publish all personal information, contact endpoints, names, handles, text, and media submitted to us for inclusion on your profile card.
• Lawful Use: You will not use your profile card for any illegal, fraudulent, harassing, deceptive, or unauthorized purpose.
• Prohibited Content: You may not submit content that contains malicious links, phishing attempts, hate speech, adult/pornographic material, illegal trade offerings, or infringes upon any third-party intellectual property or privacy rights.
• Accuracy: You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of the contact details (phone numbers, email addresses, messaging handles) you provide during onboarding.

4. Public Nature of Profiles and Anti-Scraping Disclaimer

• Public Accessibility: You acknowledge and agree that profile cards hosted on socialfree.me are intentionally designed to be accessible to anyone possessing your specific URL or scanning your generated QR code.
• Anti-Scraping Technical Limits: While Socialfree deploys strict HTTP response headers and directives intended to block search engine indexing and AI web crawlers, you acknowledge that no public web host can guarantee total technical prevention of unauthorized, rogue web scrapers. Socialfree shall not be held liable for third-party harvesting of data published on your public profile card.

5. Fees, Billing, and Hosting Terms

• One-Off Setup & Hosting Fees: Fees for setup packages, custom designs, and hosting access are specified during checkout via our payment processor (Stripe).
• Included Updates: Standard setup packages include one (1) free detail update (e.g., updating a phone number or email address) per calendar year. Subsequent updates or major page layout redesigns may incur an additional fee.
• Refund Policy: Under UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days without giving any reason. However, by completing your payment and submitting your intake details, you explicitly request that we begin providing the setup service immediately.

You acknowledge that once your profile card has been configured and published live to socialfree.me (delivering the digital service in full), you waive your statutory right to cancel and fees become non-refundable.

If you request cancellation prior to your page being built and published live, a full refund will be issued via your original payment method. If you are unsatisfied with your page layout post-publication, we will make reasonable adjustments within the scope of our minimalist templates.

6. Account Suspension and Takedown Policy

• Right to Terminate: We reserve the right to suspend, disable, or permanently remove any hosted profile card at our sole discretion, without prior notice, if we determine that the content violates these Terms or engages in deceptive practices.
• Voluntary Deletion Requests: You may request the temporary removal or permanent deletion of your hosted page at any time by emailing us at hello@socialfree.me from your registered email address. Pages will be removed within 24 hours of request verification.

7. Service Availability and Modifications

• Service Uptime: While we strive for 100% platform availability using reliable static hosting infrastructure, Socialfree does not guarantee uninterrupted access. We are not liable for temporary downtime caused by third-party hosting providers, maintenance, or internet outages.
• Modifications to Terms: We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of our service following any updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Socialfree, its founder, and operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, our service, profile pages, or digital QR graphics.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
